I`m sure the Shilton family will recognize this photo of Bruce outside the General Store??? Big Bay has a special place in our hearts as our family spent a week there at Aunt Jean & Uncle Ralphs cottage ---quite a few years ago.Geoff took Tessa and Fionnuala there this year and they had a homemade ice cream cone.---no black balls or penny candy this time This picture of Bruce was taken last year .What fond memories. Big Bay and the sorrounding Georgian Bay landscape is certainly a beautiful part of the world! We already have our retirement spot picked out near the new Cobble Beach Golf Course (just need to convince Fionnuala!). I think I was last there in the summer of '71 or '72. At least that's my best estimate because I distinctly remember the one hit wonder "One Tin Soldier by The Original Caste" played on the radio. I will always remember that toy car bought at the General Store and played with for hours on the deck of Auntie Jeannie and Uncle Ralph's cottage. Great formative memories!
